The UVIdoc HD2 is a standalone gel documentation system. A 1.4 megapixel camera, with 12-bit pixel depth for increased dynamic range, produces high quality images for publication and quantification. An easy-share network connection allows images generated within the laboratory to be downloaded
remotely within the office with minimal risk of spreading ethidium bromide contamination, although four USB ports are available for the simultaneous connection of a USB flash drive, printer and mouse if required. Standard features include saturation monitoring to ensure images remain fully quantifiable; an 8.4 inch TFT LCD panel; an epoxy-painted stainless steel cabinet with built-in roll-out 8W transilluminator; plus a 3-position filter wheel and white light epi-illumination. Also included as
standard is UVIdoc 1D software with its comprehensive gel imaging, analysis and annotation tools.
